Built around SHOEI’s lightweight AIM+ shell, the RF-SR2 combines layered fiberglass and organic fibers for a strong, balanced structure that feels responsive on the road. Its compact aerodynamic shape helps reduce drag and lift at speed, delivering confident performance for daily commutes, weekend rides, and longer highway miles.

Improved lower ventilation gives the RF-SR2 a larger vent opening and 43% greater intake airflow for more effective cooling on the road. Adjustable vent controls make it easier to regulate internal airflow as speeds, temperatures, and riding conditions change.

The RF-SR2 improves upper ventilation with a revised intake design engineered to capture and direct air more efficiently. Delivering 21% greater upper intake airflow, the enlarged, glove-friendly vent helps move more cooling air across the crown while offering precise adjustment in changing conditions. 

The RF-SR2 gives riders more precise control over lower ventilation with a revised vent mechanism designed for easier adjustment. A new half-open position lets you fine-tune airflow instead of choosing only fully open or closed, making it easier to adapt cooling performance to changing speeds, temperatures, and riding conditions.

Developed and refined in SHOEI’s wind tunnel, the redesigned rear exhaust gives the RF-SR2 an 82% improvement in aerodynamic performance. The updated shape helps reduce turbulence and improve high-speed stability for a more planted, confidence-inspiring ride across changing conditions.

The RF-SR2 uses SHOEI’s proven CWR-1 shield system, giving riders access to a wide selection of replacement shield options for changing light and riding conditions. The shield blocks 99% of the sun’s harmful UV rays, while the included Pinlock EVO lens insert helps reduce fogging for a clearer view of the road.

Fine-tune the RF-SR2’s interior fit with SHOEI’s Personal Fitting System and interchangeable pad thicknesses for personalized support around the head and face. A fully removable and washable liner helps maintain freshness, while the 3D-shaped interior provides a secure, balanced feel.

Ready for modern communication systems, the RF-SR2 includes dedicated speaker space and microphone routing within the interior. Its comm-friendly layout supports Bluetooth and Dynamic Mesh setups while preserving the helmet’s clean profile and comfortable fit.

Equipped with SHOEI’s Emergency Quick Release System, the RF-SR2 allows trained responders to remove the cheek pads before helmet extraction. This built-in safety feature helps reduce pressure around the head and neck for easier removal when emergency assistance is required.

Engineered for superior protection, the SHOEI RF-SR2 meets Snell M2025D certification requirements and exceeds DOT FMVSS No. 218 standards. Its AIM+ shell and impact-managing liner system create a strong technical foundation for street and sport riding.
