SHOEI PRODUCT REGISTRATION

SHOEI® Helmet Warranty Coverage

Your SHOEI® helmet comes with a comprehensive five-year warranty from the date of purchase by the consumer, or seven years from the date it was manufactured—whichever occurs first. This warranty applies exclusively to helmets bought in the United States through the official distribution channels of Helmet House, LLC.

Warranty Protection

This warranty specifically covers manufacturing defects. Please be aware that it does not extend to damage caused by the consumer, such as drops, impacts, or scratches to the helmet.

Register Your Helmet

To activate your warranty and obtain a registration number, please register your genuine SHOEI® helmet with Helmet House. This registration number is crucial for facilitating any future warranty claims.
Registering your helmet ensures that you can quickly and easily manage claims, should you ever need to report a defect covered by our warranty.

Important Warranty Notice:

SHOEI® warrants to consumer only new helmets purchased from authorized SHOEI® dealers in their own country. SHOEI® does not warrant SHOEI® helmets purchased from a country different from the consumer’s own country of residence, or helmets purchased in one country for use in another country, because regulatory standards or certification requirements for helmets vary from one country to the next. Helmets purchased from outside of the consumer’s own country may not have been designed with the features and aspects intended for buyers in the consumer’s country that are important for making SHOEI® helmets a world leader in premium motorcycle helmets and for providing the SHOEI® experience. SHOEI®, on behalf of itself and its dealers, disclaims any obligation to provide warranty service for helmets purchased outside of the country where the helmet is presented for warranty service.

Important Legal Notices:

SHOEI manufactures its helmets to meet the specific legal requirements of the country in which they will be sold and used. Authorized SHOEI dealers are prohibited from selling SHOEI helmets outside of their territory to keep buyers from purchasing SHOEI helmets from another country because such helmets may not meet the legal requirements or carry the required certifications in the buyer’s country. For example, riders in Europe generally must wear helmets that carry ECE certifications, not U.S. DOT certifications and vice versa. It is the rider’s obligation – not SHOEI’s – to make sure that the SHOEI helmet he or she is wearing is certified as “street legal” for the country or jurisdiction in which he or she is using such helmet.

SHOEI HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIMS, COSTS, LIABILITY OR CONSEQUENCES ARISING FROM THE USE OF A SHOEI HELMET IN A JURISDICTION OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIC JURISDICTION FOR WHICH IT WAS MANUFACTURED AND CERTIFIED. YOUR SHOEI HELMET IS ONLY WARRANTED TO THE FIRST CONSUMER PURCHASER AND ONLY IF THE HELMET IS PURCHASED AND USED IN THE JURISDICTION FOR WHICH IT WAS MANUFACTURED; USING YOUR SHOEI HELMET IN A JURISDICTION FOR WHICH IT IS NOT CERTIFIED VOIDS THE LIMITED WARRANTY.

Counterfeit Notice:

Counterfeit SHOEI® products made of inferior materials and subpar manufacturing processes are becoming more and more common in the online marketplace. For your safety and comfort, we highly encourage you to purchase your next genuine SHOEI® helmet from an authorized SHOEI® dealer only. The production of our world-class helmet line is a meticulous process that combines the very latest in technology with advanced materials, modern testing practices, and nearly 60 years of helmet building experience, which simply cannot be replicated.
