SHOEI PFAS Compliance
Poly/Perfluoroalkyl Substance (PFAS) Declaration
Helmet House remains fully committed to compliance with state and federal laws and requirements and believes a proactive and transparent approach is what our customers should expect. Some states have recently passed new laws regarding perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) that take effect on January 1, 2025.
It is with this view that we have conducted a PFAS audit of our suppliers, our processes, and the materials that we or our vendors use to create our products. It is our intent to fully comply with the current standards outlined in the recent legislation in California, Colorado, and New York, along with any standards that may be established by other states in the future.
SHOEI has confirmed and certified that none of their products contain perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) chemicals in excess of regulated limits, and that their material suppliers do not intentionally add PFAS to raw materials.
Helmet House to the best of our abilities, relies on our component, assemblies, and material suppliers and vendors to monitor consumer safety and ensure compliance with all international, federal, state, and local regulations of PFAS substances. Helmet House will continue to monitor and audit all new vendors, materials and processes for compliance and will update this statement as needed.
Any Dealers or Consumers that have concerns or questions regarding PFAS in our products can contact their sales representative or call our customer service at 818-880-0000.
