DESCRIPTION
The CNS-1 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is designed for Shoei Neotec, GT-Air, and GT-Air II Helmets, offering a broader and taller field of vision compared to its predecessor. It safeguards against 99% of harmful UV rays and guarantees a clear view across your entire sightline through the 3D injection-molding process. Alongside the QR-N base plate system, shield changes and base plate function are remarkably streamlined. Thanks to the spring-loaded base plates, the shield seals securely against the dual lip window beading, ensuring a wind and waterproof closure every time.

The CNS-1 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is compatible with the CWR-1/CW-1/CNS-1 Pinlock® EVO Lens Insert (sold separately). Pinlock® lens insert technology is a revolutionary solution designed to combat visor fogging, a common issue faced by motorcyclists. This system utilizes a unique double visor setup where a Pinlock® insert, made of a moisture-absorbing material, is attached to the inside of the helmet’s main visor through a secure, yet easily adjustable pin system. The space between the Pinlock® insert and the visor creates an insulating air pocket, effectively preventing the temperature difference that causes fogging. This ensures clear vision for riders in various weather conditions, enhancing safety and comfort.

very comfortable helmet. unfortunately in the canyons and at night I have to ride with out the visor because of the glare and reflection. I can see my face and sunglasses in the reflection from the visor and at night the glare from headlights and tail lights in busy traffic is extremely debilitating. we split lanes here and I have to leave the visor up most of the ride. unfortunate as this is a great helmet but my less expensive helmets never gave me this issue.
