The CWR-1 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is engineered for SHOEI RF-1200, RF-SR, and X-Fourteen helmets, delivering an expansive field of vision and 99% protection from harmful UV rays. Utilizing SHOEI's advanced 3D injection molding process, this face shield ensures a distortion-free view across its entire range, providing riders with a clear and uninterrupted sightline. While it does not include the Vortex Generators found in the CWR-F, the CWR-1 features strategically placed ribs on the top and bottom edges to increase its strength, preventing bending under wind pressure or during the opening and closing of the shield. This upgraded system is paired with an advanced locking mechanism, ensuring secure shield positioning and marking SHOEI’s most sophisticated shield design to date.

The CWR-1 Pinlock® Ready Face Shield is designed to be compatible with the CWR-1, CW-1, and CNS-1 Pinlock® EVO Lens Insert (sold separately). Pinlock® lens insert technology provides an innovative solution to the common problem of visor fogging. The system features a double visor setup, where the Pinlock® insert, made from moisture-absorbing material, attaches securely to the inside of the helmet’s main visor using an adjustable pin system. The gap between the insert and the visor creates an insulating air pocket, preventing fogging caused by temperature differences. This ensures clear vision in all weather conditions, enhancing both safety and comfort for riders.
