The x-15 is what you pay for. The helmet pairs perfectly with cardo packtalk edge. The liner is soft with its comfortability and snug enough to be secure and fitting right. shoei's sizing chart is accurate, how they say "True to size" crown fitment. Its great at higher speeds on highways/track as well as cruising around town. Air flow is great on hot humid days, great on cold days (closed vents) the anti-fog pin lock works perfectly. the tinted face shields could, for sure be darker and more mirrored. People who complain about wind noise do not use any of the attachments like chin curtain or the chin spear i dont know what the name for it is. I was in between sizes for a small and a medium. pricey helmet well worth the cost.

Bought the X Fifteen almost a year ago. I have ridden in all types of weather and this helmet is worth every penny. It’s super comfortable, lightweight and reasonably quiet. Best Shoei made. I was using the GT Air and then the RF 1200. Both are great but this is in another universe.

I came from an X-14 and I'm pleased to say the X-15 fits exactly the same. It's a pricey helmet but the quality is unmatched. Improvements I noticed over the X-14: -Larger viewing envelope. Yes, you can actually tell a difference! -Improved ventilation when moving. -It feels lighter. -It seems quieter. -The windscreen locking slider is far easier to actuate. -The central location of the windscreen lifter takes some getting used to, but it provides you more leverage for opening/closing the shield. -The helmet profile is almost identical, which for me is a huge positive. It looks great. -The front of the helmet has a recessed spot for a comms mic, which is nice.
