Note that this base has had a redesign for the upper slider. If you ripped the slider off your helmet, as I managed to do while fumbling for the visor release, you will need to remove and replace the entire (included) mechanism because the slider has an additional tab corresponding to a new slot in the base- not shown in the product photo, which shows the original design. It’s a quick and easy replacement.
